The Refund and Renewal Policy for MeSign Products

1. Providing high-quality products and services to users is the consistent commitment of MeSign Technology.
The following refund policy of MeSign products is specifically formulated below:

  1. (1) Email Signature Service Pro: We provide 100% unconditional order cancellation and payment refund within 7 days from the date the user ordered, but we do not offer refund after 7 days from the date that the user ordered. After a successful refund, the system will automatically revoke the V2/V3/V4 signing certificates that have been issued to the user.
  2. (2) Publicly Trusted Email Certificate (Vp): We provide 100% unconditional order cancellation and payment refund within 7 days from the date the user ordered, but we do not offer refund after 7 days from the date that the user ordered. After a successful refund, the system will automatically revoke the email certificate that issued have been issued to the user, so the email certificate cannot be used for email signature and encryption and it cannot guarantee the emails signed or encrypted by the revoked email certificate can be continued to be opened and viewed normally;
  3. (3) Document D-signature Service: We provide100% unconditional order cancellation and payment refund within 7 days from the date the user ordered, but we do not offer refund after 7 days from the date that the user ordered. After a successful refund, the system will automatically revoke the PDF signing certificates that have been issued to the user, and the signed documents cannot be guaranteed to be displayed the signature information normally.
  4. (4) Contract E-signature Service: We provide 100% unconditional order cancellation and payment refund within 7 days from the date the user ordered, but we do not offer refund after 7 days from the date that the user ordered. After a successful refund, users cannot initiate the contract signing service anymore, but the signed electronic contract still have legal effect. The system will automatically revoke the PDF signing certificate, but the signed electronic contract documents cannot be guaranteed to be displayed the signature information normally.
  5. (5) PDF Signing Certificate with USB Token: We provide 100% unconditional order cancellation and payment refund within 7 days from the date the user ordered, but we do not offer refund after 7 days from the date the user ordered. Once you apply for a refund, please return the USB Key hardware first, and you will receive a full refund after receiving the hardware (if the hardware is damaged, US$20 will be deducted). After the refund is successful, the system will automatically revoke the PDF signing certificate, and the signed document cannot be guaranteed to display the signature information normally.

If the user wants to cancel the order and get the payment refund within 7 days after purchasing the products and services, please log in to the MeSign account to cancel the order. The system will automatically notify our Financial Team to process the refund within three working days.

2. The Renewal Policy for MeSign Products and Services:

  1. (1) If users renew the products and services within the validity period, they will enjoy a 20% off discount, and after the expiration, there will be no discount. All services cannot be used after they expires. The email certificate cannot be used after it expires, but the expired certificate can still be used to decrypt previously encrypted emails.
  2. (2) If the Email Signature Service Pro has not been renewed after the expiry, it will be automatically downgraded to the free email signing service. By default, the V1 signing certificate is used to sign the email. Users can still use the free email encryption and signing service provided by the MeSign APP.
  3. (3) If user renew the PDF Signing Certificate with USB Token, no new USB Token will be shipped.
